Six months old!!!!!!

Unbelievable! The girls are now six months old. What to you may have felt like just another month, has been one of fun, excitement, and exhaustion in the Potts household. The girls are sitting up (for a bit), laughing to show off their teeth, and eating all sorts of foods. Their temperments are amazing, and we are always pleasantly surprised that they seem to enjoy going out to eat or to the bookstore. Perhaps life as we knew it isn't totally over after all.

Maybe the biggest news this month (and for those of you who have never been a stay at home mom, this is going to sound soooo sad) is that I have made Mommy friends. Phew!!!! Erin and Nicole have been saviors. With their six month olds, we travel in a pack of seven, and we DO have fun. People might groan when they see us coming, but we never fail to have a laugh.

What else? Basically, I couldn't be prouder of our family. I love watching Ryan with the girls. Every time he walks into the room the girls smile, and, when he talks, they laguh. It's beautiful. Annie and Ellie are a heck of a lot of work, but every minute is worth it. They light up the room with their larger than life personalities!!!

Oh- stats!!!! As of today Annie Christina weighs 17lb 2oz and measures in at 27.5 inches. Ellie Jane is ever so slightly heftier at 17lb 4 oz and an inch shorter at 26.5 inches (perhaps taking after her mommy :.) )

Ok, I could babble on forever, but basically we are all happy and well.................. just wish they wouldn't grow so darn fast!
